Using NovuHub
These terms cover the Novu Account, the NovuHub platform and the NovuApps built on it. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

Draft — not yet in force. 8 points in this document depend on facts that could not be established from the project and are marked below for review.
Agreement to these terms
By creating a Novu Account, or by installing or using NovuHub or any NovuApp, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the software.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so, and “you” in these terms then means that organisation.
Legal reviewthe legal entity that these terms are concluded with. No registered name, address or company number exists anywhere in the project, and a contract needs a counterparty.
What NovuHub is
NovuHub is a platform that installs, launches and connects a set of specialised desktop applications — the NovuApps. Currently these are NovuAI for AI-assisted development, NovuExplorer for files and digital assets, NovuSpace for online services, sessions and credentials, and NovuVoice for communication, together with modules such as Novu Mail and the Novu Vault.
Each NovuApp is designed to be useful on its own. NovuHub provides the shared layer between them — identity, licences, shared context and, where you enable it, connection to online capabilities.
Public Beta and preview features
NovuHub is in active development and the Public Beta has not yet been released. Anything you receive before general availability, and anything marked beta, preview or experimental afterwards, is provided as work in progress.
That means, in plain terms:
- Features may change, be redesigned, or be removed before release.
- Functionality may be incomplete, and it will contain bugs.
- Availability may be limited to certain plans, platforms or groups of users.
- Data formats may change between versions, and a migration is not always possible.
We would rather you tried these features and told us what is wrong with them than not have them at all. But please do not rely on a preview feature for work you cannot afford to lose, and keep your own backups.
Your Novu Account
A Novu Account identifies you across NovuHub and the NovuApps, and carries your plan, licences and seats. Some functionality works without one; plans, connected capabilities and anything shared do not.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, and for keeping them current.
Account responsibilities
- Keep your password confidential and do not share your login credentials.
- One account is for one person. Seats exist for teams; sharing a single account is not the same thing.
- Tell us at support@novuhub.eu if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
- You are responsible for activity carried out under your account, except where it results from something outside your control.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Novu Account, and the sign-up flow asks you to confirm that. Where the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to a service like this, that age applies instead.
Plans
NovuHub is offered on a Free plan and on paid plans. For individuals: Plus at €9.99 per month and Pro at €24.99 per month. For teams and companies: Team at €49.99 per month and Business at €99.99 per month. Enterprise is agreed individually and may cover on-premises or air-gapped deployment, private AI and a service level agreement.
Which applications and capabilities a plan includes is set out on the Plans page, and that page is the current statement of what each plan contains. Plans and prices may change; section 21 covers how.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. After cancellation the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for, and the account then reverts to the Free plan.
Legal reviewrefund and withdrawal terms. EU consumer law grants a right of withdrawal for distance contracts, with specific rules for digital services, and the correct wording depends on the jurisdiction of establishment.
Legal reviewwhether taxes are included in the listed prices or added at checkout, and how VAT is handled for business and consumer customers.
AI credits and usage limits
AI features are metered in credits. The Free plan includes a limited allowance, Plus a larger one, Pro a full professional allowance, and Team and above share an allowance across the members of the plan. Enterprise credits are set by contract.
When an allowance is used up, AI features that depend on it stop until the allowance renews or is extended. On the Pro plan you can use your own AI provider API keys, in which case usage with that provider is billed by them, to you.
Legal reviewhow a credit is defined and measured, when allowances reset, whether unused credits carry over, and whether additional credits can be purchased. The site mentions buying extra credits but the mechanics are not defined in the project.
Licence to use the software
Subject to these terms and to your plan, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use NovuHub and the NovuApps for as long as your plan entitles you to.
The software is licensed, not sold. Except where the law says otherwise, or where a component is distributed under a licence that grants you more, you may not resell, sublicense or redistribute it, remove or defeat licensing controls, or use it beyond the seats your plan covers.
Legal reviewwhether NovuHub or any NovuApp includes third-party or open-source components whose licences must be acknowledged and whose terms may override parts of this section.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you already have in the content you create, store or process with NovuHub and the NovuApps. Using the software does not transfer ownership of your work to us, and we claim no licence over it beyond what is technically needed to run a capability you have switched on — synchronising a workspace, for example, or delivering a message you chose to share.
Local data and backups
NovuHub is local-first: workspaces, files, mailboxes, sessions and credentials live on your device. That gives you control, and it puts the consequences of losing that device on you.
Keeping backups of your local data is your responsibility. Cloud Sync, available from the Plus plan, synchronises between your devices — it is a convenience, and it is not a backup service.
AI features and generated content
AI output is generated. It can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable, and it should be reviewed before you rely on it — particularly for code, for anything that affects other people, and for anything with legal or financial weight.
You are responsible for what you do with generated output, including checking that using it does not infringe anyone's rights.
AI agents and automated workflows act on your instruction. Where you give them the ability to change files, run commands or reach connected services, the results are yours in the same way any other action you take in the software is.
Third-party AI providers
NovuAI can run models locally on your hardware and can also use models from supported cloud providers. Choosing a cloud model sends the content of that request to that provider, under their terms and their privacy policy.
On the Pro plan you can supply your own provider API keys. Where you do, your agreement is with that provider directly, including what they charge and what they do with the request.
We do not control third-party models, their availability, their pricing or their output.
Connected services
NovuSpace, Novu Mail and parts of NovuAI let you connect accounts and services you already have. Those remain your relationships: their terms govern them, you are responsible for using them within those terms, and their availability is not something we can promise.
Connecting a service means giving NovuHub access to it on your behalf. Only connect services you are entitled to connect.
Shared workspaces and collaboration
Shared workspaces, roles and permissions belong to the Team plan and above. The foundation for them exists today; shared workspaces themselves, collaboration and cross-application context are in development and their progress is published on the roadmap.
When you share a workspace, you are responsible for what you share and with whom, and for having the right to share it. An organisation administering a plan is responsible for the accounts and the access within it.
Acceptable use
Use NovuHub lawfully and with regard for other people. In particular, do not:
- Break, overload, probe or otherwise misuse the service or the infrastructure behind it.
- Attempt to gain access to accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours.
- Upload or distribute content you have no right to, or content that is unlawful.
- Use the software or its AI features to produce material that is illegal, or that is designed to harm, deceive or harass people.
- Circumvent licensing, seat limits or credit allowances.
- Resell access, or make the service available to people your plan does not cover.
Security and reporting
Do not attempt to defeat the security of the software or the service. If you find a vulnerability, tell us at support@novuhub.eu rather than exploiting it or publishing it, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
Legal reviewwhether a formal vulnerability disclosure policy or a safe-harbour commitment for good-faith security research should be published alongside these terms.
Intellectual property
NovuHub, the NovuApps, the Novusion and Novu names and marks, and the software, design and documentation behind them remain the property of Novusion and its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you beyond the licence in section 10.
Feedback you send us is welcome, and we may act on it without owing you anything for it. That does not affect your rights in your own content.
Updates and changes to the software
NovuHub and the NovuApps are updated as they develop. Updates may add, change or remove functionality, and some may be required for the software to keep working with the services behind it.
Where a change removes something you depend on, we will try to give reasonable notice. During the Public Beta, changes may be more frequent and less predictable — that is the nature of the phase, and section 03 says so plainly.
Changes to plans and prices
Plans, the capabilities they include and their prices may change. For an existing paid subscription, a price change takes effect from the next renewal after we tell you, and you can cancel before then if you do not accept it.
Service availability
The local parts of NovuHub are designed to keep working without a connection. The connected parts — accounts, licensing, sync, cloud AI and collaboration — depend on services that can be interrupted for maintenance, for incidents, or because a provider we depend on is having trouble.
Outside an Enterprise agreement with an agreed service level, the service is provided without an uptime commitment.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using NovuHub at any time and can ask us to delete your Novu Account, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first and give you an opportunity to put it right, and to retrieve data held in our services before the account closes.
Closing an account does not delete the data on your device.
Disclaimers
The software is provided as it is. Beyond what these terms state and what the law requires, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated output.
Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including consumers' statutory rights.
Legal reviewthe limitation of liability clause. A monetary cap and the categories of excluded loss have to be drafted against a specific governing law and against how the service is actually sold, and both are unresolved. This section is deliberately left without a cap rather than carrying an invented one.
Changes to these terms
These terms will change as NovuHub develops. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where it affects you, tell you through the product or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the software after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, you can stop using it and cancel a paid plan.
Governing law
Legal reviewgoverning law and jurisdiction, including the mandatory consumer protections of the country where a consumer lives and, for EU consumers, the availability of the Online Dispute Resolution platform. No jurisdiction can be derived from the project.
